Mezza Luna Italian Restaurant was the vision of Roberto Pugliese, Giovanni Marzocca, and José Marquez. Their culinary experiences had taken them around the world, and they knew one day they would have a restaurant of their own. They felt an instant connection to Half Moon Bay, with its local farmland and fishing boats docked at the nearby harbor.
For thirty years Mezza Luna has been serving southern Italian dishes with a California flair. The focus has always been on high-quality meats, fish, and produce, much of it locally sourced. The restaurant is in the harbor town of Princeton by the Sea, a short drive from San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
